Talking Who are you!!

I'm fortunate to live in the same town that the Power shop Inc. is in. They also have a web site with that name. The owner Chuck and his friend tom do a radio show on Sundays for Rver's. He has put us into three distict groups. First are the Boomers, These people have trucks down on the ground, seats down on the floor and stereo's that registar on the rictor scale. Next we have the Bomber's. These could pull a mountain over and make a beer run faster than anything on the planet. You can tell by the smoke trail behind them and the little electric car full of tree huggers trying to catch up. Next we have the tuggers. These guys can also pull a mountain over but with much less smoke and there able to do this 7-24 for 500,000mi. I think alot of fit into the last class. The buggers yep thats me. I'm going to pull my race trailer as fast as possible for as long as I can. I don't give a crap how much smoke I make or how good my fuel mieage is, as long as I get there first!!

i appreciate the compliment....i lowered it 3", and hid a stereo in it, it will pull a hill faster than i would ever care to go, and gets awsome fuel economy for a big block (about 21 if it is driven nice).......wont go 500k though......so i did miss one catagory i guess, but it ran a high ten recently on the quarter.....so i guess i make up for it in speed.....

Talking who are you?

Thats such a great sleeper. We talk about the good ole days and my wife never misses a chance to remind me of the serious mistake I made by selling my 55 series 2 GMC half ton. I bought it from the Mayor of Tukwilla, WA. I got in 1980 with 60,000mi and the canope had never been off. She buffed out real nice. She's probably right , as usual!!!

yea, those old trucks have so much character, there is so much you can do with them, and there is so much room under the hoods that the make awsome projects for street rods, great probjects for just a good looking driver, and even a neat full resto.......it is a lot funner for me to have a blank canvas that isnt expected to be a street rod, or isnt expected to be a factory resto like a lot of the older vehicles out there, and i have to side with your wife on you making a mistake

Cool Who are you?

I think were a little off topic. But I wanna know!! I'm keeping tab's on what are member's are really like. My second home is with the cummins boy's. This article got two pages over night!! Let me know. I would post at the other Ford sites but there to stuffy for me. This is the "only" place to be. Well Marc, Back to the off topic, My GMC was there first year with a V8. The truck line back then was tied to Pontiac so my truck had the 287ci Pontiac V8.
