19.5 Rickson wheel package!

I am considering upgrading to the 19.5 wheel tire package offered by www.ricksontruck.com . I was wondeing if anyone here has any info or opinions regarding their products. If they are as advertised, it seems like a good towing mod. However...they are a bit steep on the initial cost involved. Not sure if the cost is really worth it. If you have any info or opinions (good or bad!) please speak up. Thanks for your time to reply...Don

19.5s are an exellent Idea if towing or hauling heavy loads.
as far as price, I would just shop it, there is company in Texas called Big Wheels that does the adapter kits, and they referbish all sizes of Alcoas, they look like new and are alot cheaper

I will be switching to 19.5's in a few months when the snow lets up. The tire life is much greater if you can put up with a rougher ride. Prices on tires are a bit higher...paid almost 300 apiece for new fronts but rear retreads were only 100 each so it all equalled out( keep in mind these are 265/70-19.5's which are equal to 36" tires which cost over 250 each)...as far as direct bolt on wheels verse adapters and used wheels...It cost me just over 1400 for 6 new aluminum dirrect bolt on rims, the cheapest adapters I could find were 900...then you have to buy the rims. It looks like your running a single rear truck, if you tow alot these would help greatly with the sway associated with your present sidewall flex. Hope any of this might help...if you have any more question feel free to send me a PM. Good luck! Welcome aboard!

I have been looking into 19.5's for my dually. I talked with Rickson a few days ago they are out of the blansk and don't expect to have any before March. If you are in a hurry to get it done try Suspension Lift Kit, Tonneau Covers, Fender Flares, ATV Plows, Body Lift They have American Force 19.5's on sale through the end of December with free shipping.
