First tow with new truck!

This weekend I had a chance to tow my camper to the track for some moto racing. Dang race got canx for all the weather we had down here this weekend so that was a bummer. But.....

All I can say is WOW! I am totally happy with this new 6.7L Ford. I had a couple of 6.0's and didn't think they towed that well (that's my opinion anyway) but this one impresses me. I traded a 2008 Chevy 2500 Duramax in on this new truck and thought the Duramax / Allison combo towed pretty darn well but the rest of the truck was average at best. I figured I would be happy if it did as well. This new truck accelerates quicker, smoother and is more comfortable driving than my old one was. I don't know what the fuel mileage will be compared to the Chevy (I was averaging 8MPG on it) but hopefully I will get better. If I could get 10-12 I would be estatic. I have a 40' total length Cyclone toyhauler that weighs 12,500lbs empty with a pin weight around 2500. Got to get something to level it out while towing but knew that was needed before I bought the truck. If you are on the fence about this new engine you shouldn't be. It tows like a dream!

I drove a 6.7 once, but didn't get to pull anything with it. Bet it pulls great though.
