How much can a 1/2 ton 94 chevy tow?
Hey guys im looking to go pick up a parts truck tomorrow and i only have 2 trucks my white 350 and my 1/2 chevy and i was wondering what you guys thought i could safely tow with it. The truck im picking up is a 2002 cclb with no drive train so its just a cab box and axles so im guessing about 3000lbs and the trailer im getting is about 3000 as well. the gvwr for it was about 7200 so i figured i outta be fine right its just kinda far away and would like to not tow it with my 350 if i dont have to. (oh and ik get all the chevy jokes outta the way before you post please

Just out of curiosity, why do you not want to tow with your Ford?
But the Chevy should be fine if it's a short distance. But honestly, if you got a 1 Ton, I'd use that.. Sent from my SPH-L710 using AutoGuide.Com Free App |

I'm sure you can but I probably wouldn't. I pulled about 8k in my 97 Chevy half ton about 50 miles. It wasn't fun.
