BEFORE any of the PM's from Colin to Dennis, banks fired the first shots long ago at many vendors including TS Performance, which caused the ill feelings from Dennis Towards Banks to begin with. After that, Dennis has every right to defend his company. And again......ahem...PUBLIC FORUM! ANYONE can post in ANY thread! So there you go.......now hopefully instead of you two (and future posters) can stop trying to question Dennis Perry's guilt, of which there is little to none.......come on, ya'll should already know that Banks has a long history of bashing their competitors, making claims that don't add up or sit well with some people, etc....etc...
Yeah I have read the Banks battle posts between Colin Banks and everyone etc etc. If any of you guys need a chuckle it is pretty entertaining.

The people I feel the most for are the employees of GBE, everyone that I have had personal contact with is a class act, very professional and very helpful. Just my thoughts...

I've no dog in this fight at all but you might want to re-read this statement Adam, it's pretty opinionated. You're posting one side of the conversation and expecting us to make a sound judgement, when you're obviously biased - so we should blindly follow your word like a bunch of lemmings? Post up the other side of the conversation and let people form REAL opinions, not one sided ones.
Look I've got my own issues with Banks right now and their "apparent" reneging on the ROTM prize (yeah stand up company aren't they?) but if you want people to see your side of this little issue post the other side of the conversation that's all I'm saying.

I'm not questioning Dennis's or Banks guilt in this. frankly I don't have alot of respect for talking smack, let their products do their talking for them and let the consumer decide. It sounds like you have an axe to grind with Banks maybe if you opened the poll up a little and add some other names it wouldn't sound like a witch hunt.

I haven't bought any Banks or TS products yet, but if they have something and it is to my benefit and the service is good and the price is right and they treat me fairly then I'll buy it. Their personal problems are just that.

No hard feelings and I like your truck. Merry Christmas.

Mike

Not really an axe to grind, I just hate to see Banks continue to bash away at vendors who sell excellent performing products that dominate theirs on the strip. Dennis and TS throw on one of the best drag/pulling events in the east of the mississippi every April, Banks doesn't have their own event and does not attend any events and compete, until they come out with the typeD which has been in development for quite a while...now they act like they are kings of the industry. The Dmax drag truck is impressive, but most will agree that they have only shown that they can build a 750horse dmax, stick it in an extremely light chassis and pour nitrous to it, have Gale blow it a kiss and it's the best thing in Diesel Performance. I understand that Banks has a winning attitude, and I respect that, but they act like they are the only ones in the industry driven to succeed. Do they think that the other well known names in this sport show up without the intention of winning in their class at those events? Soon Banks will be installing their "actual drag engine" into the Type-D and shoot for the mid 7 second passes they talked about long before the truck's debut. With another few hundred horses they should be able to reach that goal. Next year boys get ready, cuz the competition in the segment will be hotter than a nuke.

Well all I will say is competition is good, and we as consumers of this fight will more than likely benefit from new and improved products. I certainly don't like to see anybody get nasty on a personal level and don't ever want to see that crap spill into this forum.

For every product out there in the world, no matter if its plastic spoons or tampons. someone's allways gonna claim their product is better than anyone else.

Ford vs. Chevy, Chevy vs. Dodge, Dogde vs. Ford, I mean come on, it goes on all the time, and they all "bash" each other's products.

Mine's better than yours, it has more HP than any other truck in its class.

If you dont like Banks, dont buy it, does GBE have a gun at your head, forcing you to buy their products. Same goes for every product out their. buy what you want and if your not happy with it, try something else.

Ive read most of the stuff on CompD...I had little if any respect for Banks and now I have ZERO!!! Ill say this, Gale does know his $h!t, cant really deny that, but his business needs some major tweaking. The way its run is, well, $h!tty; he may be one of the best, if not the best known diesel "tuner" to those out of the loop, but for those in the loop (pretty much anybody on the forums or that attends diesel events) Banks is pretty much a joke. You pay out the @$$ and get very little in return. Last I knew the Six Gun bundle for a 6.0 ran over $3k and my Smarty was $685...the last 6.0 I ran with the whole Six Gun Bundle it wasnt even a race, I flat layed it to him (I dont even want to hear anything about how thats not possible or any Dodge vs Ford BS...its an example of power per dollar...) And i saved over 2 grand, was it worth it for him. NO!! I cant wait for next year, I expect Banks' competition to hand them there collective @$$es at the track, that is if Banks even shows up. They can then tuck tail and run to the shop; maybe we'll see them in another 3 years claiming to have the best...Banks needs to realize their competition isnt a bunch of rookies; how long has TS and others been drag racing? Many of these companies were around before there was a diesel performance market; when there were no 1000+hp trucks, and certainly no 10 second full bodied, factory framed trucks...

Sorry for the rant, but I cant stand arrogant @$$holes like Colin and his DADDY

I'm on Dennis's side with this matter. Banks has yet to contribute anything to the diesel world and they have yet to answer any questions that were asked in the first thread that colin was in.
