Brake Controller

I think this belongs here, if not, sorry.

I am going to be installing a brake controller tomorrow. I have put several in my vehicles in the past and some I have to run a wire back to the plug and some I don't.

I have a 2000 Excursion TD, and was wondering if it came prewired with the wire under the dash or hood???

Any info would be great.

Thanks in advance

yes it is prewired.
if you pull the fuse/dash cover and look to the right under the radio just on the other side of the dash bracing you will see a white (i think) plug. that is where you will plug in the pigtail for the brake controller.
