2013 Factory Gooseneck questions?

I have a 2013 Platinum and it came with the factory underbed plate for gooseneck and fifth wheel. Where can I buy the pieces (gooseneck ball, and plates) to use the gooseneck and fifth wheel. I don't currently own or need any fifth wheel stuff, but I am considering purchasing a toy hauler in the near future so I am interested in how this factory connections work. I have tried googling different phrase and have yet to find any solid information on the setup and the salesman didn't seem to know a whole lot about it that I believed....

Thanks in advance for any help given. Also if you know the best (cheapest) place to purchase the corresponding ball for this system, I would appreciate it.

Can't seem to find who the manufacturer is or if you'd be able to purchase the parts from somewhere other than Ford but here is the link to Ford's parts website.

$250 seems pretty darn expensive for just a ball. Seems its my only option though...

Well it includes the ball and 2 cast iron safety chain hold downs.....Ya it seems expensive to me as well, but what else are you going to do? You could buy a B&W hitch but then you have to uninstall the factory bracket and install the new hitch and it wouldn't save you any money. The part number should be BC3Z-19F503-A so if you do some shipping around you should be able to find it a bit cheaper, a quick search found the kit for about $200/220 on Ebay. Good Luck.

Apparently you can use a kit from Reese, looks exactly the same and if you shop around you should be able to find it even cheaper than this site. It also says it works with the factory for system. Reese 30137 http://www.etrailer.com/Balls/Reese/RP30137.html
