Safe towing
Hey guys, does it matter if I tow small utility trailers with my 6.4 powerstroke on "HOT" tune on my XRT Pro? May be a dumb question thats already been answered 10 billion times but I knew it was something that needed to be watched towing larger trailers. Thanks

nope you can tow big trailers on hot as long as you take it easy and watch your temps... I'm assuming you have gauges of some sorts and if you dont I would tow at all.

As mentioned, just monitor your motor/trans and you'll be fine. When I tow my tandem duals EMPTY, I'm usually on Mild or Wild and my EGTs rarely get past 900.
