Towing with a Hypertech tune?
I recently bought an '03 F250 7.3 auto. The truck has a Hypertech tune on it with stages 1, 2 and 3 (currently stage 3). We're towing our camper (about 8000 lbs) from St Louis to Gulf Shores in 2 weeks. Any issues with leaving the tune or should I change it? Stage 1 or 2 or stock? It would seem the extra HP/TQ would be helpful for towing?

Got an EGT gauge?
If not leave it in stage one. If you got an EGT gauge stage 2 is fine
|
