New to Class V hitch on F350

I have a '06 F350 DRW with the class V hitch. The sleeve is in the receiver, reducing it down to 2" (I thought).

When I got rid of my Suburban, I saved my ball mount hitch. I need to tow my RTV, so I tried installing it in the F350's receiver and it fits, but it's loose. There's probably 1/8" - 1/4" play. It seems too little not to be right, but too much to tow reliably.

Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a special ball mount for the Super Duties? Or is this just the way it is when reducing a class V hitch?

Thanks in advance!

i have a class 5 with the reducer also. get a new reducer. the reducer you have is made of a thinner guage metal allowing for too much play.

Figured I'd chime in, albeit late.
There are different ClassVs. Some have a 3" receiver , some a 2.5", and some a 2".
There is no special receiver or hitch for a SD.
