Snowplow Install

I just picked up my unimount brackets for my western snowplow and i decided to install it myself due to over 500 dollors in labor. So i'm wondering if anybody has done this before and if they can give me some hints. These things are expensive over 700 bucks just for the bracket. Thanks in advance for the help.

Yea i have to rip all that out of my old chevy first then get it in, i dont think it should be that bad for me because i will try to keep all the wires staight and together during the transplant.

i know on some plows, like my meyers, the front crossmember has to be removed. Wiring is pretty straight forward.

Haven't put one on an SD vet but they are pretty straight forward, the only time I ever had a problem is on an OBS f-250 I had to grind a little on a bracket to clear everthing

I put mine on a few years ago by myself,it took me the better part of 6 hours to do.i think the 2nd time i could do it in 2 hours alone.just read every step of the directions and follow along carefully, the wiring had me spooked until i did it and it was quite simple.it really has good instructions
