Good Price on 44' Car Hauler?
I have a 2001 Cargo Mate 44' gooseneck enclosed trailer for sale. 8' inside. It has 3 axles and a gross vehicle weight of 18000 lbs. All the tries were replaced less than a year ago, even the spare. It is loaded with D-rings on the floor and walls. It has an access door for a generator. It has a large 48" side door. The back door is a ramp style door. He is asking 8600 I am wanting to haul 2 cars at most with a 01 f250 cc sb sw. Is this a good deal? and will my truck haul it with no problem? I feel like i can get him to come off the price just, dont know what a good buy on this brand would be.

Thats not bad at all, I paid $9000 for my 2001 48' 2 years ago. It had new tires all around and the wiring redone.

you can pull it, ive pulled a 20 ton tag before with my 350 SRW.... I dont recomend doing it for long distances or at fast speeds, but you can. you really should have a DRW for something like that.

Tri-axles pull pretty decent with a srw truck. If it was only a tandem axle then that would be dually territory for sure.

Yes I would recommend a DRW also although as stated already tri axles pull well with SRW's. I am upgrading to a DRW though for this vary reason.
