Pulling with Truck Tuned?
I got to pick up a new tractor next week, and bring it home, it weighs about 2300lbs and trailer about 1400lbs. Have to go about 40miles and some big hills, no highway. My question is, would it be a bad idea to haul this load with my 525 hot tune from river city diesel? I was thinking about dropping it down to the tune that came on it from SCT. I just figure that it'll strain my tranny pretty good. Any input is appreciated.

I would say a tow tune for sure. I will not tow in a hot tune.

i wouldnt tow in a hot tune for sure. lots of stress on stuff.
