Older 5th and Goosenecks change out
Im thinking about buying a 1996 wells cargo 40' 5th wheel trailer. Right now it has the 5th wheel hookup but its the type that it can be changed out with like 4 or 6 bolts.. Im wondering if anyone knows where to possibly get the replacement gooseneck connection for it. I know these days they have those adapters but this was made to be changed out. Picture of what I am talking about.

Not sure where to get the hitch to change out. But I would not use the adapter. Right around the corner from my house this last saturday a guy had a fifth wheel with a gooseneck adapter and he had to stop quick and it ripped the king pin right off the hitch. Those adapters put a bad strain on the fifth wheel hitches.
