Weight Distribution Hitch Question

I just purchased a 2006 Desert Fox toyhauler with a dry tongue weight of 1200 lbs. Will I be ok with a weight distribution hitch rated at 1200lb tongue weight or do I need to bump it up to the 1400lb version due to the fact the tongue weight on my trailer is 1200 when dry? Thanks so much in advance!

Go to at least the 1400lb one. You'll probably have a battery, 2 propane tanks and anything in a forward compartment that will add weight to the tongue.
