bumper hitch question
im having a moment right now and cant remember the brand hitch for my truck but its either drawtite or reese. problem im trying to figure out is that the hitch sits about 3'' UNDER the bumper not flush with it like every other hitch i have ever seen. hitch is sitting in the corner of the garage at the moment cause i removed it to try to correct the issue and it appears that A. the holes wont line up and B. the rivets iirc from the spare x-member is in the way of the hittch mounting. anyone else have this issue? its annoying cause it puts the ball pretty close to the bumper and i just dont like it like that

Your screwed. I would see if the hitch is right for that truck. But if not you can always use a hitch where the ball sits out further. I do so I can get my tailgate down and not touch the ball.

skip i figured out its a universal for ford/chev/dodge. i can still use it no problem but i have my setup so the ball sits a bit further out of the hitch. havent had a issue with it yet
