how to secure my cargo (F350) to the trailer
I have PJ 22’ deck over full tilt trailer 14K GVW. I need to load and move my 2002 F350 on it. My 2002 F350 does not have the towing rings on the front bumper. I do have HD chains and ratchet binders. What is the best way to secure the truck to my trailer? Where do I attach the chain on my truck? Thank you very much.

Wrap the chains around the axle tube, on both sides of the truck. You can do the same for the rear. I prefer to load the vehicle, and leave in neutral with the E brake on, then cinch the chains tight and then put it back into park. I've had issues not doing that and the chains coming loose on me while driving
![]() Be aure to watch for things like brake lines and ABS wires while wrapping the chain around the axle! |

Just got done towing my 95. Used 8 axle straps. Was a bit of work to get them all on, but she didn't move for 1100 miles on some bumpy roads.
