Yeah if you have the turbo brake tune it should slow you alot.

FYI the banks speed brake isnt gonna do anything different than the SCT tune

really??

Besides using the turbo it also uses the tranny to downshifts on it's own to whatever preset speed you select.

With tow haul and my tow tune I still have to tap the brakes a few times and if I am going too fast it won't downshift till I use the service brakes enough to control the speed.

Actually all it does is lock the converter and close the turbo vanes. The exact same thing that an SCT with a turbo brake tune does.

One thing I have noticed with the turbo brake tunes is that if you turn the tow haul off and turn it back on right before you use it. It works much better

Jody says the braking feature needs to be activated. Guess he forgot to add that to my tune. Looking forward to trying it out. That is after I send my EGR cooler on vacation (got a nice leak)
