hookin bumpers with a chevy
so, this dude at my school is talkin smack about how his 04 chevy with a 6.0 gasser is supposedly pretty awesome. its 4wd, and has glass packs, and some KM2 tires on stock rims.
I have a 97 4x4 with 4.10's and a 5 speed. 10k, new intake, and some junky 235 wide firestone tires. he will definetly win in a drag race, but if we hook bumpers, who do you think would take it?? if I had some better tires, I would for sure say me, but I dont think I can put the power down with those oldschool turd tires that are on there. will the powerstroke still prevail???? |

if he has an auto trans, you will have to take in consideration your letting out a clutch and a brake when hes just letting out a brake.

hes got an auto.
it would be best to do the pulls in 2nd gear 4 hi in my truck right? |

just dont go up high into the rpm's and make the truck break traction and you should be able to get him, get him to spin tire and as soon as he does just roll into it

4 wheel low in I would say 3rd and make him break his tires loose first. Just remember, nothing will break chit faster then a game of tug-o-war!

Yeah, first one to lose grip loses the pull. Also, be careful, and I would recommend using dirt as pavement truck pulls LOVEbto snap parts...
