diagnostics/scanner
Anyone in KC have a diagnostics scanner that they could hook up to my 05 6.0 with 89k miles?
New batteries, alternator and oil cooler 6 months ago. I'm having some issues and have done a bit of trouble shooting... now I think I need to see what a diagnostics scanner might say about what is happening. Essentially I have a ton of fuel being pumped out. Here are a couple of videos... This one is just idling 2005 f350 6.0 liter powerstroke at idle - excessive smoke - YouTube and this one is driving 2005 f350 6.0 liter powerstroke driving - excessive smoke - YouTube I cleaned the EGR ... it wasn't too bad. I tested the FICM My truck has the 4 pin FICM. I tested it as follows. Key on not running - 47/48 Key off after first test - 37 and then bleeding down... I stopped testing at 25 Cranking 47/48 idling 47/48 2500 rpm 47/48 So it never really dropped except when I turned the key off after testing with the key on. Thoughts? |
