Chapter By-Laws
Chapter By-Laws
I. Primary The Kansas chapter by-laws may not contradict the local chapter by-laws provided by Powerstroke.org. By-laws contained herein are addition to those provided by Powerstroke.org. II. Membership Local chapter membership is open to any Ford Powerstroke enthusiast residing in the state of Kansas. Chapter functions may be attended by any Powerstroke.org member, but only Kansas chapter members may vote on any matters concerning this Kansas chapter. The Kansas logo must be present on the members vehicle, location is up to the owner. Members must attend at least ONE of the Kansas events annually. III. Chapter Events All chapter events will be announced on Powerstroke.org, and in the Kansas chapter section. Any event that draws 25% or more of Kansas chapter members will be considered a qualifying event. There is no restriction to how many events the chapter must create. An example of an event include, but not limited to, meet and greets, track meets, camping trips, picnics, wrench days and off roading events. IV. Chapter Decision Making Any decision made by Kansas will be handles by the Kansas officers. Officers will first address Powerstroke.org administration. Once administration has approved, officers will turn the vote over to its members in the form of “polls” posted on Powerstroke.org for all members to view and participate. Any decision must have at least a two-thirds majority vote from Kansas members before confirmed. In an event of a tie or split, another poll will begin in which two-thirds of members must vote in the majority (50.01%) otherwise the matter with be handled by Kansas officers and Powerstroke.org administration with the best interest of Kansas in mind. Only Kansas chapter members may vote on any matter regarding the chapter. V. Removal of Chapter Membership Roles A member may be removed from chapter membership at any time, at the written request of the member. A member may be involuntarily removed by a two-thirds majority of voting members. A vote for removal will be posted and left open for no less than 14 calendar days. Grounds for removal include, but are not limited to, consistently rude or obnoxious behavior toward other chapter members, or any actions which bring discredit to the chapter or Powerstroke.org. VI. Removal of Officers Elected board members may be removed from office by a two-thirds majority of voting members. A vote for removal will be posted and left open for no less than 14 calendar days. Grounds for removal include, but are not limited to, failure to perform the duties of the office, or any actions which bring discredit to the chapter or Powerstroke.org. VII. Amendment of these Chapter Bylaws These chapter bylaws may be amended by a two-thirds majority of voting members. |
