Exclamation Oprah needs HELP!

Well, pics say it all, 40 MPH front end collision, no serious injuries.
I have yet to hear anything from the insurance company yet. I hope they don't total her, she's part of the family at this point

[IMG]http://www.powerstroke.org/forum/vbpgimage.php?do=full&p=13471&d=1240752796/IMG]

Sorry for the low resolution phone pics.......

I'm so glad no one was on the passenger side of her car, I don't think they would have been able to walk away like we did.

Before the parts hounds start in, I have no plans of selling anything off. If they total her, I'll buy her back , and fix her myself.

Wonder how her sister " Rasputia" is going to take this?

If you have parts you want to sell, let me know. I'm not looking for handouts, I could put her back together without the insurance money. But if you got em' and wanna make some dinero, lemme know.

Thanks, Jason

Yeah, Her name is Oprah. I think the kids came up with the name. She's been with us a while. It was a rough night watching her bleed all over the street.....( insert big crying titbag smiley here )

She turned left in front of me, her light was green, but she didn't have the arrow.

She had a few scratches on her right forearm, but was treated at the scene, I'm a little stiff, and I suspect she is worse off than me.

I am truly thankful she had no passenger though, that would have been much much worse......

Well, the frame was bent in four places, radial and vertical. State Farm does not "do" frame replacement. The way they would have released the title to me would have made it nearly impossible to ever put it on the street again.

So.......

I found a nice 45k mile 2005 Excursion Limited, 6 inch lift and 20's.........and it's black!
Brought it home and swapped the 20's for my M/T classics. I think I like it. I put 15 thousand miles on it allready...I'll get some pics up of the new girl soon.

Also, if you have to hit some one, make sure you don't have the same insurance company.

That sucks that you didn't get to have the truck fixed, but you came out shining anyway with the X. I don't think that there are many insurance companies that would repair frame damage like that, it's very expensive to do. I love State Farm, they've taken good care of me in the 10 years I've used them
