What would you do?

I bought some raffle tickets at an "event" back in October. At the drawing I won a MagnaFlow exhaust from a vendor. At first I thought I would just sell the exhaust and end up ahead and be done with it. Then I did the dpf delete and decided to put the exhaust on my truck. When I first contacted the vendor to get the parts he was nice and told me the parts would be in his Grand Prarie shop in 2 weeks and I could pick them up. I would get a call from his warehouse manager to pick up the parts. Well after 3 weeks I contacted the vendor and he said he had the parts and would be in town the following Friday and he would call me. Well I heard the same story every week for 3 weeks. Then the vendor quit responding to my emails and wont return my calls. I havent heard from him since Nov 10th. I contacted the organizer of the event a few times. The last time I heard from him was almost a month ago. He sent me a message saying he talked to the vendor and I should be expecting a call the same day.

I havent been able to get any help from the organizer, and the vendor just plain ignores me. I have been completely patient and civil in all my emails until now. Its been 3 months and I think that is long enough. I am sure that I will never get anything from this guy. I am ready to bombard this guy with emails and phone calls until it starts to cost him money to change every piece of contact info he has and order new business cards.

So what would you do? I know I have no legal recourse, and I dont think I can report them to like the BBB or anything. Anybody else have an idea on something good to do?

I probably wont go back to the "event" next year. If for some reason I do, I am sure I wont buy any raffle tickets.

I'm getting the feeling I know what "event" you are talking about. Sorry to hear that man, but you answered your own question. There really isn't anything that you can do......have you shown up personally to the shop?

The address on the business card is in Houston. Maybe with some research I can find the one around me.

*EDIT I dont know why I never thought about that sooner. I found the address. I think I will have to roll by there this week.

JMart I'm having the same problem with a jump seat. But I did not win it I payed cj for it.

Give the guy notice you will be calling him out on forums in 5 days. I also have a real issue that the organizer of the event isnt helping. I would let everyone on that forum know as well so he can recieve pressure. If they fail to help end your association with them.....

In 5 days no resolution... go on a posting rampage to every performance site you can find. Make sure people know he isnt above board, even post on Clist.

I can tell you right now if this were my event it would be handled or said persons business would be on the blacklist...

man that sucks. it was a vendor on here? if it was, be sure to post who he is if it doesnt get resolved.

I'd also contact the vendor direct and ask for someone in management. if no results, then i would post their info everywhere you can think of. somebody will contact you...trust me
