They way I hear their hard up for Diesel Mechnics everywhere, but especially in the gulf south if you want to move a little south. I'm in Houma, Louisiana and I see bill boards all the time for Diesel Generator tech for Cat. Go in and point to you solid work history with only one employer for 25 years and they'll likely be willing to train you. Stability is a good selling point to a company that's hard up for people.

or you could take the road less travelled and start on your own. Start from the house and eat hot dogs and potted meat for a year so you can eat steaks everyday of the week later.

Either way, look at it as an opportunity instead of a knock down.

Getting Laid Off and No Job Sucks!!!

Hey Dude,
I have an Idea..
Try giving Scott a call at Diesel Dynamics, LLC.
(817) 558-3673
Diesel Dynamics is a B.A. Diesel Performance Shop located in Joshua, TX.
Joshua is about an hour drive southwest of Dallas.
Have you called the Truck Shop at Prestige Ford?
Good Luck on Job Hunting...
