I wanna buy a 7.3L excursion. Anyone have one?

Hey guys. I want to buy a 7.3L excursion and have searched on craigslist, autotrader, ebay, etc, but prefer to buy cars from car guys cause they tend to take better care of their cars.

I've never owned a truck, but sat in my buddy's modded F250 the other day and holy cow, that thing hauls. I love fast cars and mod every car I've owned. I currently own 2 German cars: 2000 Audi S4 Stage 3 that makes ~450 HP and a Audi S5. I like my cars lowered, but I want a truck that is lifted and blows smoke and looks and sounds obnoxious.

Anyhow, I searched around for a good Ford forum and this looks like a good one. If any of you know an Excursion for sale around the Austin area, please post a link for me. I've read these engines are awesome and don't mind a higher mileage car. Ideally I'd like to find one with a suspension lift, straight pipes, ECU mods already. I honestly just want a big car so my old man dog can lay down instead of freak out in my small cars. Please post links if you know of nice ones for sale. Thanks

I've heard the Excursions get worse mileage than the trucks. If you're hauling a bunch of people I can see an excursion being nice but I think you'll be better off with a good 4 door truck.
