Wish I had 10K laying around Nice 94 Diesel 4x4

We are in the market to get my son a truck and we found this on craigs list ... We are shy of $3000 of getting this truck owell, well just keep looking .

If it was a powerstroke i'd think about it. But not an IDI.

that price seems high, maybe in texas but in jersey you can find that truck for way cheaper. I would travel a little if need be. I have driven to florida to get a car because the price was right. Either way damn good looking truck. I wish my parents bought me a diesel truck when i started driving LOL

IDI school me please , I have only been in the diesel world for a year now ...

94 was a half year. The early 94's were IDI. Indirect Injection. 94.5 and up were the DI Turbo'ed Powerstrokes with the high pressure oil system. The IDI used an injection pump with a lift pump to supply it. The IDI's are good trucks but not worth near what a powerstroke is or even close to what the power of a powerstroke is. Not all IDI's were turbo motors but the later ones were.

I know what your saying My first truck was a 2x4 S10 then into a 4x4 1985 Toyota 4x4 4 cylinder lol.. But I want to get him something he will be able to keep for a good while ..
When we got my daughters 99 Mustang rag top with 39,000 on it for 7k that was a good deal so we jumped on it.. Was a one owner never smoked in all leather ..............

If I were you I would keep looking until you can find a good 94.5 to 97 powerstroke

wow that is a great deal. I love getting good deals..and 10k laying around..im 22 sometimes i wish i had an extra 100 bucks laying around
