Anyone around Beaumont?

Hey guys! I am living in Beaumont, and just installed my dp tuner chip and the gauges. I am having some problems getting the pyro and trans temp gauges to work and was wondering, if anybody lived around here, could they help me. I will pay you for your help and do whatever it takes to make good on this.

Good luck, man. I know we have many members in Texas, although I honestly don't know about Beaumont. In the meantime, what seems to be the trouble with your gauges? Maybe we can help out.

Well my pyro and trans temp light up, and the needles jump when I start the truck but no movement after about 15 minutes of hard running. I know the egt's get up way above 200 degrees but it stays below. The boost gauge works nad I am getting readings up to 20 psi. I dont know if I have the power for egt and trans in the wrong fuse spot or if they are not grounded right. It is getting pretty frustrating though.

Yeah...what your problem? I just installed a TW chip and gauges in mine over the last two weeks. EGT isn't working...internal short or something. Got another one sitting here to be put in tomorrow if I can get to it.

Well when you hooked the power up to the egt and trans temp, where did you tap into the power at. I am thinking it might be a ground not reading right.

Good afternoon. I was able to talk him thru it this morning. He's good to go now. We did talk a bit about whether there were any members in the Beaumont area. I'm sure he (Jordon) will want to talk with you!
