Texas vehicle inspection...

I bought my 2002 F350 out of state and I need an inspection to register it. I'm in the Army in North Carolina and will be driving down to San Antonio to register it so I'm searching for an inspection place on my way that won't notice my straight pipe and my dark tinted windows. I can drive in to almost anywhere from the east side to central Texas. Please help and PM me with the "right" place that will pass me no problem.

I've tried calling some places but can't a firm answer, a few of the places insisted that I had to have a cat even though mine didn't come with one.... And have also brought up that turbos count as mufflers but no one can point at the exact reference that says it changed from Texas transportation code 541.203

Please help

If your coming through the north Dallas resin hve a shop I take all my vehicles to and all my vehicles have 5% tint and my truck has no emissions equipment. In Texas we don't test for emissions so you'll be good there, just needa find a shop that'll pass ur windows- my shop does so holler at me if your coming in this area. I'm in Garland, tx, just 15-20 mins north of Dallas

I normally roll my windows down. They have never said anything.
The last time I went, I think it was a Firestone store, they didn't say anything about windows

Thanks for the info guys I plan to drive in to the state Monday to get it inspected. I just ordered my new 5in exhaust/muffler today and ill pit it on this weekend. So I'll have that on only thing I have to worry about is tint but I'm thinking of just rolling them down and unplugging the switches.

In Texas, if you bring in an out of state vehicle you have to get a "green sheet" from the inspection station. You bring that with you to the title transfer office. Just make sure the information is written correctly. When we first moved back to Texas from Oklahoma we had to do it and the inspector wrote the VIN down wrong and had to go back and have it corrected.
