Looking for "6.0" shop in DFW

I just bought my truck and I am starting to upgrade my truck. Coolant filter in the mail with a flush not too far behind. Insight gave me the bad news that the oil cooler si coming soon as well. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good shop in the area that does good work and is somewhat cheap. May do it myself, but would like to get a few bids.

hhmmm...if you dont mind driving to houston I know a few really good 6.0 shops, I also no a guy (no shop) works from home that might do the work, but he is in Bastrop. He is a great mechanic when it comes to 6.0 and 7.3

I'm kind of in the same boat as the original poster, I'm new to the DFW area and driving to Houston doesn't really help me out. Need an oil cooler and egr cooler in my 6.0 and don't have the free time to do it myself, nor time to lay around Houston with the truck torn down...

Thanks
Mark

Try Spartan Diesle Shop they are off I30 just to the east side of main post office. Good group of guys. Very reasonable on labor and parts. They will also sell you the parts if that's what is needed. They towed my truck for a no start problem replaced HPOP, repaired wiring issue and #4 injector for about $1400.00

I had my '06 6.0 towed to Princeton Diesel (a little north of DFW) yesterday from Park Cities Ford. Got stranded Sunday night and didn't know where to tow it but the dealer. It needs the dummy plugs, standpipe and check valves, and STC fitting. Paul at Princeton Diesel quoted me almost half the price of Park Cities Ford to do the job, and he's also going to do the EGT, steam clean the intake manifold and a few other things while he's got everything apart. So far I'm impressed.

Just met with him. He's a good guy. Looked at truck and calmed my fears and pointed out what was leaking. And lined up doing some work. Seems like a hood straight shooter.
