Im just seeing who is running without front Texas plates. And if you got pulled over, what was the cops responce and or fine?

I have something I want to put there instead now.

I got pulled over once north of dallas by a state trooper. My bull bar was covering the plate. He pulled me over but he only gave me a warning.

typically something the dps enforce or so i have seen went 3 or 4 years with out a font plate. on one truck the bracket fell off and i lost the plate. on my 04 truck i nudged a oldsmobile and knocked off the plate and the mount. i had that plate behind my back seat though for at least 2 years

I know its law but I didnt know if was inforced or not. I have a JD plate that I wanted to stick on the front but putting it ontop of the TX plate by the top two bolts. But it looked kinda tacky.

I do have a plate on the fornt of the EX but then I have personalized Colledge plates and wanted to "show off" the name of the Truck and my University. Now on my Lexus SC430 I also have personal plates but I haven't had the front one on since there is no mount on the fornt and it detracts from the looks of the caranyway. I keep the plate in the trunk JIC. It's been almost three years now and I have been stopped but the Officer never said a word (just admired the car).

Got a warning from trooper for it, then a ticket from Victoria City PD (***) after 7 months in the BMW (now wife's). Didn't want to drill the bumper to put it on, but $118 later, it's screwed on now....

depends on the cop. I've always run one but know several people that don't and have never really had an issue, but if you get a gung ho azzhat trooper you'll more than likely get a ticket.
