Reputable Diesel Shop in Austin
Anyone know of a reputable diesel shop in Austin they can recommend?
I'm probably just thinking of a tuner and maybe DPF delete and then probably some minor items like a tool box, etc., but it's always better to buy from a shop that knows what they're talking about. |

if it's any indication of how things seem to be around here, I go to Truck Source Diesel in San Antonio for anything I'm not equipped or experienced enough to do. They are profoundly better than anyone I've found around here and the drive really isn't that bad. Very professional and a great bunch of guys to deal with.

Truck source does seem like the place to go out there.. but dpf delete is something you can do with simple hand tools....

I was hoping there was a local shop. It's the time I don't really have. And it's nice to have someone to go to in case there's a problem in the future with any mods that have been done. I know some truck shops do free or discounted installs if you buy from them.

There's quite a few diesels rolling around town - one of them has to be decent.

See, thats exactly what I'm saying but any time I've asked around I get either "I do it all myself" or "I tow it out of town to get worked on". Wth is this crap? I know there's a place in dripping springs area (malone diesel) but for me thats about as good as driving to SA. I just dont see how everyone around here running these modded trucks does all this stuff on their own.
