I have a mystery coolant leak (possible water pump)

was curious about shops around the SE side of town that are reputable...or people,whichever. I hate to take it in really, but I've not the time to mess with it.

Thanks for any suggestions.

(PS I know I've seen some before, but my stolen internet plus search function is a bad combo)

They don't have a website but that's their address/reviews.

My family has taken every one of our vehicles to him for years. Honest mechanic too. On a few occasions the problem was something really simple and he fixed it for free. Example: Batteries were dead, something came unplugged, fuse shorted out.

He's not a dedicated powerstroke mechanic but he probably knows more than most dedicated shops. Name is Mike and his wife runs the front desk.


p.s. One time my moms' passenger door wouldn't open so she dropped it off....all it needed was some wd40 ...didn't even charge us

if you end up going to a dealer, hit up Mcree Ford in Dickinson. I know the service manager and his dad owns the place. Fairly good people

I've had such horrible experiences with a dealer that I can't possibly go to one.

I have to imagine there is an independent in Clear Lake, Friendswood, Pasadena, heck even Pearland....

You could always go to powerstroke magic. But I'd imagine they'd cost more

Powerstroke magic will most likely be cheaper than the dealership. I know they were cheaper on the quote for heads than what my buddy got from a dealer. I'd recommend Powerstroke magic. They redid my heads with new 0-ringed heads and deleted the EGR. Runs like a champ!!
