Really good deal on an 09 tailgate with step. On craigslist..Right Now..Search F250. Under auto parts . They only want 300. If I had the money I would get it. Just trying to help someone out..that want's one. DFW craigslist

This guy is full of crap! I talked to him on the phone he assured me the tailgate was in perfect condition (just like the ad says) and that it has the camera and step and is black. So today I load up the truck with the family (which included my 2 year old) and headed out on the 500 mile round trip. When I get there the first thing I notice is that the tailgate is copper in color not black. No biggy I can paint it. I flip the thing over and no camera, but a huge dent across the whole thing. At this point I was pissed, I offered him $100 dollars and he acted like I was crazzy. Needless to say I left without the tailgate. I came back home and checked the ad on craigslist it is still up and now he is asking $400 instead of the $300 he was asking.

Put the trip wasn't a complete waste, I stopped by Antique Auto Supply in Arlington and found a new old stock fender for my 1947 club coupe. I've been looking for this fender for about a year but could find one for the right price and condition.

no it's not your fault at all. This guy out right lied to me and I'm sure he would have done it to you too. No problem though like I said it all worked out anyways I got a part for my classic that I've been looking for.
