I just bought my first Ford 250 diesel. Its a 00 4x4. I need some one to help me with the fixing up and info as things arrise and placed to buy parts. I live in the Canton area and work for police dept in the metro plex. Looking to have the motor rebuilt, so im looking for a good person who can do that. I want to make this a project truck I want to mod it out a little at a time. Any PM's will help/ thxs

There is a diesel engine builder in the Canton area. I'll ask a buddy of mine (lives out by edgewood) for the contact info. A good place for some parts is LMC Truck Parts: Chevy Chevrolet Blazer S10 GMC Jimmy S15 Ford Bronco Ranger Pickup Pick Up Accessories/Catalogs I know it says chevy / blazer etc..... there will be a link for Fords.
There are numerous directions to go as far as modding out. Usual starters are an open air element, open exhaust from the turbo back, etc.....

More will chime in over the next day or so. Post a picture of your truck when you get a chance. Also, keep an eye on the Texas members section, you'll see when we are meeting for lunch, dinner, or some other event. Also, we are a very family friendly group.

Thxs I will need all the help I can get I know guns,hunting and roping. I know nothing about working on vehicles. But im going to learn.

Well, your not too far from my folks, They live over in Bullard. I get up that way once or twice a month. I dont know any diesel shops or mechanics out that way though
