new to forum
I'm new to the forum and to the 6.0 world!
I just bought a F-250 lariat 4x4 crew cab long bed.
It has 100,088 miles on it. Its a nice truck when i can drive it lol.
Bought it 3 weeks ago and only been able to drive it for a couple of days due to the fact its been in the shop. Hot no start! High pressure oil leak says the mechanic and 1,400$ later still hot no start. #8 injector was replaced along with O-rings on all injectors and oil rail. stand tubes, dummy plugs, HPOP ( I had a TE T-500 in it but due to a poor install it took a dump.) My mechanic says its the branch tubes
! For 1,300$ more he will fix it. I didnt get it fixed because i want a second opinon. Today i cleaned my air filter and came in the house to eat dinner went to go to the store and it started rough with white smoke. Took it for a drive and the smoke stoped after the motor warmed up which seemed to take awhile. Everything i have seen on here is that nothing can be done without the numbers! I dont have a scanner so i put a call into a mobile mechanic and for 125$ he will come to the house to do the scan thing. then I will post my numbers. Sorry about the book just given you all a heads up lol. Thanks in advance.
