Hey, I'm totally new at this and don't know beans about it so I hope I don't do something dumb. I was told that this was a place where I might sell my truck. Is it unacceptable in forum-land to join a forum and then try to sell a truck right away?

I'm not sure if there is a "minimum post count" required before you can access the classifieds section. have you tried to post a new ad?

Just post it in the "For Sale" section and Sell away

Six is right. No limit. It helps to have more posts so people know you more, but not necessary.
