Just got out of Marines and moved to middle TN

Hey yall I just got out of the Marines a few months ago and recently took a job here in the Nashville/middle TN area. Dont know much about the area and know even less folks. Im open to any input about the area especially in regards to places to camp with family stuff to do. I have four kids whom I put first when planning things. Thanks upfront for any info or input.

Welcome to the crew. PM Eric for membership. We have quite a few members in your area and I'm sure some will be along soon to give you an overload of info on what and where.

Thank you for serving! I am an Army retiree. We like camping at Indian Creek Campground in Granville. It was a Corp of Engineers camp/ but a few years back the Corps closed it and a private party leased it and reopened it. His name is Guy Hardin, he was a country music performer and now he has a small show on Saturday nights. He is very good. They stay open all year and have a few activities through the year. The campground is on Cordell Hull Lake. They have a beach, fishing, paddle boat rental. It's a nice place and they maintain it very well. If you join Passport of America you can stay for half price except Friday and Saturday. They have water and electric, dump station, no sewer. Check it out, think you would enjoy. Jerry K. (Sisiryder)
