These Laws begin with Powerstroke.org By-Laws, and continue to our own.

If you have a suggestion for a Law, or an objection to an existing Law, please contact myself, the Vice President, with your recommendation.

Powerstroke.org Chapter Rules

A chapter may be formed by any group of five (5) Powerstroke.org members who have some kind of common geographical connection.

All chapters will have a logo. All logos will include “Powerstroke.org” in their design.

The requirements for being a member of a chapter are the following:

Be a member of Powerstroke.org in good standing.
Display the Chapter Logo on your vehicle.


Chapters will be required to plan and organize one get together per year. Attendance is optional. There will be no minimum requirements on attendance levels.

Chapters will at their onset, and then whenever they feel the need to, elect a Chapter Director, a Chapter Vice Director, and a Chapter Historian. These positions will hold no authority, but those holding them will serve as coordinators for any chapter event. These positions will be open to any chapter member with the exception of Powerstroke.org Staff.

Chapter formation will occur at such time as a group has organized, and presented a list of members and a logo design to the Powerstroke.org staff, and said logo design is approved.

These chapters are a function of Powerstroke.org. As such, they may not function outside of Powerstroke.org CoC. Also, the Powerstroke.org staff reserves the right to make changes at any time to facilitate operation of these chapters.

Tennessee Powerstrokes By-Laws

1 - The Director may make changes to existing By-Laws as developing situations demand attention. By-Laws may also be added or modified by popular vote.

2 - Director Responsibilities will include but are not limited too: Running of the chapter, scouting and setting up G2G's, keeping track of members and updating members list. Setting up the polls and keeping everyone updated on the goings on!

3 - Vice Director will carry on all the responsibilities of the director and will be made director in such a case as the acting director steps down, is removed or is to drunk! Vice Director is also expected to assist the Director in his duties.

4 - The Historian will have the responsibility of documenting and photographing any and all G2G's and any events that 30% or more of the chapters members attend. In the event that the historian can not make it to an event then it will be the historians responsibility to find another member that can. This can be done by the president or vice president only with advance notice!

5 - Map Keeper will have the responsibility of keeping track of members and their city of residence only! He will maintain our googlemap in order to facilitate G2G locations, and to give chapter members approximate locations of other members in times of need.

6 - Any Officer can be removed at any time by a majority vote of the membership, or a unanimous vote of the other officers of the chapter. Tennessee Powerstrokes will recognize these officers. Director, Vice Director, Historian and Map Keeper.

7 - Officers will at no time assume they hold authority over the chapter, or forget their responsibilities.

8 - Anyone who is caught driving with blatant disregard to traffic safety, or participating in street racing, will be considered by the officers for removal from the chapter. Consideration will be given to that individual's history and contributions to the chapter. The occasional burnoff, or "kill" is overlooked, as long as it is performed with discretion. IE, don't blow smoke on Grandma, Momma, pedestrians, etc. Smoke imports if you like, especially Tundra's, IF it can be done WITH NO EFFECT ON OTHER TRAFFIC, OR TRAFFIC SAFETY.

9 - DUI convictions are grounds for immediate removal from the chapter.

10 - G2G attendance is not mandatory. However, members may be dropped for continued non participation. Additionally, if you have committed to attending a G2G, and there is a fee involved with that G2G, you will still be expected to pay your fees, to prevent other members from covering your portion. Special consideration will be given to special circumstances.

11 - Members will be expected to be civil AT ALL TIMES to other members and the general public. Remember that you are displaying the chapter name. No one wants to get pulled over by the Cop, who's daughter got called fat by someone with a Tennessee Powerstrokes logo...

12 - Members will be expected to come to the aid of stranded members in their areas. A reasonable effort must be made to help members in need.

13 - Public lewdness, Profanity, or excessive drunkeness in front of Members families, especially children, will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

14 - These Laws are in progress, and may be changed or added to as situations present themselves.

15 - If in doubt, dont...

16 - Chapter Region is the State of Tennessee, or any state that borders it, provided those members living out of the state of Tennessee are willing to make the trip to 1 G2G per year. Special consideration will be given to any Military members that currently serve out of state, or are deployed abroad. Government Service members will also receive this consideration.

17. All voting by chapter members, will take place in polls posted in the Chapter area. All polls will run for a period of 7 days.

18. Any members found in serious violation of these laws will be considered by the chapter, for removal from the chapter. Or, depending on offense, asked to "take a break" for a period of time. A poll will be used to collect majority vote.

19. Any officers found in serious violation of these laws will be considered by the chapter for removal from the position they hold, and/or removal from the chapter. A poll will be used to collect majority vote.

20. G2G plans, will not be changed within 48 hours of said G2G. Special circumstances will be taken into consideration, (I.E. sled pull/car show event cancellation) If a G2G is in progress and a motion for a new event is introduced, all Chapter Members within the immediate geographical vicinity , or that have RSVP'd, will be contacted or given 1 hour to respond to voicemail before the new event is pursued.
