i had edge a while back and i was say it was a 3/8 hole i drilled and tapped but honestly cany remember, im sure you could look it up

Drill out the hole. Then tap half a turn and back it out a quarter turn. Do this until you think you have enough threads. When finished tapping, stick a magnet in the hole to get the shavings. Done deal.

It should say on your gauges. What type of gauges did you get?

most of them are 1/8 NPT. Some of the taps will come with the drill bit too as a kit.
