Well, she told me in June (I think)... Doc said Jan 18th at the first appointment, that changed to Jan 12th a few days later...

Where the hell did the time go???

Kinda startin to crap my pants now that we're gettin close...

This wasn't supposed to be a possibility for us, doc said he couldn't believe she was pregnant. And in a week and some change we're gonna have a baby boy...

I'm an old 28 years old, but I don't know if I'm ready for this.

I've been around the world. Lived abroad... Been to 16 countries on 4 continents. Worked on 30 million dollar machines my whole adult life, and at times been responsible for over 70 million worth of equipment and tools.

And I think it's just startin to set in that nothing I've ever done is has had as much chance of failure, and is as important NOT to fail at, as bein a father...

tom brother i was in ur shoes just a year and a half ago. and with another one on the way. i felt the same way u do. i had traveled the world, worked on some of the Navy's most advanced and expensive equipment, i spent my post-military life with other people's lives in my hands, literally. and nothing prepared me for that one minute at 11:58 pm on july 9, 2008. Brother, this is an adventure like you have never experienced.
