Yes i did it. I purchased the Dominator 3.0 kit, radius arms, airbags, stabilizer and front diff guard. Its going on my 2012 F350 Lariat. I am excited to say the least!:woot:
Already bought the wheels, 18" Method race wheels NV series with machined centers and 37"General Grabbers MT's.
Its almost sereal. I have been wanting a Carli kit for so long. When i saw the new 3.0 kit i figured that it was time. I hope it performs as good as people say it does.

I did forget to get the two peice driveshaft drop. I will have to call Carli and see if they get it to me by the weekend. Maybe Dan could help me out?hnoes:
Ahhh, did you order it through the shop in Santa Clara? I talked to the owner extensively a few days ago! Excited to see how it turns out! Let me know if you need those drive-line spacers; think the kit is already out the door
Yes I did. Toy Connection in Santa Clara. Good guys for sure. I attend events on the Rubicon with them. They always chip in items to fundraising raffles and does the sweep(we fix broken down trucks on the Rubicon.).
I was told it should arrive tomorrow. If it shows up tomorrow i will be installing it saturday!
Thanks Dan for the help. I'm shocked how few tires i have to choose from for load E. I changed the weels to 17" and bought 37" Toyos today. I really wanted an all terrain but didnt want load range D. So toyot mts it was.
I can only find 3 videos. I wish carli would post up some demo vids. Pretty unnerving spending $10k on a kit with out many videos to see the performance first hand.
Yup, we haven't done any videos on the Dominator or the Coilover Bypass. That is on the list! I'm VERY excited to see how the truck turns out. The guys over at Toy Connection seem to be very knowledgeable; my guess is you're in good hands!
They are not installing it. I will be doing that. I do not trust my vehicles with anyone. However I'm not new to building trucks. Here are a few of my toys that I have built. I worked at 4 wheel parts when I was 18, they were hacks, so I have some serious trust issues lol.
96 geo tracker
toy axles
Linked
V6
2007 dodge mega cab
A crappy death wobbling Lorenz suspension.
85 yoga
Fully built
93 ford range 4x4 long travel
Tom pro turbo charged intercooler Hayabusa mini rail.
Didn't you have a cool flat bed Dodge at one point as well? I'd love to see pics of that if you have them. I'm still figuring out what I want to do with this 05 Reg Cab Power Wagon project that I have.
The only reason I stress is I purchased a Lorenz kit for my Dodge. It had death wobble like crazy. The customer service was sub par from them and I vouched to never put a suspension on a full size again.
After waiting a couple years it seems that Carli takes care of their customers and everyone loves their kit.
We've got about 15 out there currently, including you! A few down in Corpus Christi @ 4 Wheel Specialties and a couple through Unique Concepts up in Northern California, all the ones mentioned here and a few random orders from various Dealers. It's a brand new kit with no media so we were surprised at the demand right off the bat. Once these things get some video time, we expect they'll become the new pintop! We've had nothing but glowing feedback. :thumb:
Most people that buy our systems read here, but don't post here for whatever reason.
I don't know all of them since I have yet to see their trucks out in the dirt, but Sage, Myself, Kev, CJC had one customer , Carli had a few walk in's and that's all that I know of.
People that put ridiculous suspensions on their superduties near santa clara?! Where are you all hiding?!?! I have a Fabtech 4.0 coil over 4 link on my 99 f350, and ive only seen 2 other trucks with something similar.
If you plan on running a 37" Toyo it will rub on the driverside resi some. I'm running 5" and it still touches some. Those are my favorite looking Methods
Thanks. When I talked to Dan he said it would rub the radius arms he said nothing about rubbing the shocks. With a 3/4" more off set, do you think it will mess anything up?
I am running the exact same setup w/ Carli arms (same color wheels too) mine do not rub the radius arm at all, or the reservoir. They do slightly touch the sway bar at full lock though. I think the tiny amount of rubbing is a good trade off for the extra coverage you gain by having the wheels tucked under the fender a little farther.
*EDIT- I just looked at mine and it does rub very slightly on the Carli radius arms.
On the last 2015 Platinum we did, it had 4.75 BS Methods and Toyo 37s rubbed the reservoirs a little bit. It wasn't enough to even feel in the cab or steering wheel. It left a slight black mark at the bottom of the resi.
The 4.5" BS is going to cause more rubbing on the wheel well and bumper areas. You are going to have to do some trimming with that setup I believe. PM OCVeloMan, or call Carli direct they have the backspacing issues down to a science and everything I have seen recommends 5-5.5" BS. The contact with 5.75" BS only comes into play at full lock when you are pulling into our out of a parking spot, as you are very rarely turning to full lock when you are driving at speed. I would be worried about bumper contact off road when you are "getting it on" as that would be a bad thing and could possibly do some damage to the tire or wheel well.
You are correct although big Toyo 37's will still rub the front bumper brackets a bit with a 5" backspace wheel but not the control arms. With the Dominator kit and Toyo 37's you would be best off with 9" wide wheels with 4.5" backspace for the best resi clearance but plan on most fender and bumper contact.
