05 excursion 6 inch lift

Hi all,

I am the new owner of a 2005 Limited excursion 2wd with a 6.0 powerstroke which just rolled over 70k miles.

I am planning to do a 6 inch lift this week, was looking to hear opinions on different set-ups and what else needs to be re-done other than the suspension components (gearing, etc.) Is the 6.0's transmission capable of taking the added stress from the lift and larger tires?

Lastly, if anybody could tell me what their trucks stands roof to ground. My parking garage stands at 7'3 inches I believe, just curious if I will be able to rain parking in the garage or if I will be parking in the street.

Regards,
Chris

if youre just going to 35s re-gearing really isn't necessary. You can even get by with 3.73s if your running 37s, I havent had any problems in the 30k plus miles ive been running them
