I guess they are fine,...you get what you pay for.

they will probably rust quickly, and they won't perform like a nitrogen shock,...but as long as you are happy.....doesn't really matter then.

Come on! It's a freakin' stabilizer and ANYTHING'S TON'S better than OE!

I had a Rough Country 4" 2-wheel drive lift kit on my '95 Ranger with a super charged 4-liter. Ran it to over 150,000 miles on it and it was still near perfect when I traded the truck. Tracked very true, no drift and no tire wear. A little brand loyalty there on your part maybe?? And that's perfectly fine. But, I'm not dropping over $300 bucks on a complete Icon stabilizer kit!

I'm running the stock 20-inchers with 35" tires. No off-road so strictly for business travel between customers. Again, anything's better than the wore out OE stabilizer. And, for another $100-bucks, I could replace the shocks with Pro-Comp, Rancho, etc.... But my Ranger kit had Rough Country shocks and they handled everything I threw at them on the farm. 200 head of Black Angus that is and 250 acres!

$300 for a complete Icon dual steering stabilizer kit would be a steal.

Here's what you would really pay:
Dual steering stabilizer kit, no stabilizers included $254.00
2 steering stabilizers @ $100 ea. = $200.00
Total $454.00

A nice kit for sure. Worth $454.00 ? Only you can decide.

Don't listen to other people, unless they are paying for your crap themselves

Some people have more money than brains.

This is in no way directed towards Dan C., Dan is a perfect gentlemen and consummate businessman

Most "cost effective" nitrogen charged stabilizer kit that will perform well is the BDS brackets and Bilstein 5100s for the stabilzers..... $280.85 for that combo

Still may be more than what some people are looking to spend. Nitrogen charged shocks are what help drive the cost up, but are also why the kits work so well.

As I mentioned in my first post....the Icon is just cleaner looking with the laser etched billet clamps used on the tie rod instead of steel plate and u-bolts. Also has the clear coated stabilizers (if you live in an area with a lot of road salt).

I agree with you Dan, on the looks of the Icon kit. It is the sweetest looking and the quality is unmatched. If I had the money to drop on it and not feel it I would.

Just like dual shock hoops for up front for $370 or dual shock brackets for $150 from Icon.

I want the hoops because they look a lot better for sure, but I will probably have to be sensible and buy just the brackets for dual shocks. Damn economy

Got them on and much better driving on some of the rougher roads here in the south. Had a friend who just happen to be doing some repair work on a Ford Explorer with the silver metalic frost paint throw a coat on the shocks to match the truck. Not Icons' but they work.
