drag link

Hello folks, I've been lurking around here a few years, I've always been able to find my problems buy reading and the search bar. But no luck on this one.

A few months ago my daughter and I were learning to drive. And we left the road bounced across the ditch in to a pasture field. The LEFT side of the road.
Any way the only damage was the steering wheel is 1/4 turn to the right off. I looked every thing over found nothing bent, broke or warped. the drag link had some wear so I replaced it and centered the wheel up. all is well then the miss's says truck is making a racket turning to the left in to a parking space.after some looking the drag link (pit-man arm) is hitting the spring. So I take it to the alignment shop and they are stumped. It's in line and they don't have a clue either. Dose anyone have a Idea where to look or "How" to remedy this.

All I can think of is bent the frame a little where the box is bolted on, slipped a spline on the shaft or twisted the shaft a little. all of which I would think would take a harder lick than we took. But stranger things have happened.

Thanks In Advance, Danny

P.S. It is a stock 2003 7.3 auto 4 door 4X4 short bed
