Carli / Fox Commuter 2.0 shocks

If anyone has been researching these or thinking about trying a set i have 1 set for a 2 inch kit and 1 set for a 4.5 kit up for grabs. $400 shipped anywhere in the lower 48 for the 2 inch kit shox and $450 shipped for the 4.5 inch kit shox

How do they ride on the road compared to other shocks? Why are you getting ride of them?

We have yet to even prototype a 4.5" Fox 2.0. What's the part number on your 2.5" lift ones? Ours are proprietary and haven't been out near long enough for a used set to be available.

They are amazing compared to the Ranchos they put on the FX4s stock but at the same time i dont have much basis for comparison my wife has a 09 FX4 with a 4 inch fabtech and i have a 13 FX4 for work and then i have my personal rig ( truck in my sig ) with Icon goodies on it. Im getting rid of em because our driveway to our home is 8 miles of washboard dirt/grave road and when i put em on my truck i cant go more than 35-40 mph or it feels really " funny " like mushy / the shocks aren't rebounding fast enough. But on road they perform flawless and even with light towing ( less than 10k ) they handled the trailer "buck" very well.

Im not sure the part numbers i can check i bought the starter system from Casey over at SoCal Supertrucks late Jan and installed it earlier this month on my new Company cruiser they gave me and i did exactly what it says not to do i went offroad and they felt " funny " so i took em off and ordered up some Pintops at Dan @ Carli's recommendation cuz he said is is running a 2.5 pintop kit on his ford except with a full leaf pack and he absolutely loves it. As far as the 4 inch shocks i just told Casey when i ordered my Carli kit to send me shocks to upgrade my wifes 4 inch fabtech because her white body shocks are showing rust and they look identical to the shocks in the starter system so i figured he got em from Carli all at the same time but obviously i am mistaken, i apologize for that one.

Ahhh, the starter comes with Bilstein 5100s that are generic, thus its lower cost. The Fox 2.0 in the commuter kit are custom tuned but have only been out for 2 months and none have been ordered by Casey. Sounds like you have some regular Bilstein 5100s there if they match the starter system shocks!

I'd like to add that if they are indeed the "Commuter" shocks then they reacted exactly as they are supposed to when you get out on rough washboard roads. Those shocks were developed specifically for city trucks that never leave the pavement. For trucks that will see rough road and off road duty we suggest the Backcountry or Pintop 2.5 shocks.

Carli, do you still have the 4 stock height F350 fox 2.0 for my 2014? I'm the guy with the platinum with the Rancho stock ones on the off-road package.

What are they valved for? And what kind of ride can I expect from them compared to the stock ranchos? My truck is a shortbed 11500 GV package.
