6" converting to 8". Got a question

Hey, I have a 2006 f350, had a 6" skyjacker lift in it when i bought it. I wanted to levle it out so i bought a 2.5" spacer for up from. Now its like 3/4" higher up front and i want ithigher in the back.. So, i was thinking I'd buy a set of 8" rear leaf springs. I was wondering A. is this a horrible idea? and B, IS it just a matter of taking out the old U-bolts, blocks, and springs then throw in the new leafs?
Will i need anything else besides new springs, u-bolts / hardwear? Also, does anyone know a decent online site for picking up skyjacker components?

I recently lifted my truck and had 2.5" leveling hangars up front. I bought a 6.5" Pro Comp lift and kept the hangars up front and added a 2" block to the rear. All i needed was the blocks and longer U bolts. My trucks a little different since its an '02 and i have leafs up front but you should get roughly the same result.

Your truck looks awesome. I just lifted mine a little higher and I'm trying to convince my better half to let me get my black wheels and tires.

I already have a 6" block stadon a 3.75" block which is not only illegal and overkill, but very dangerous because theres a high risk of kicking a block. SO i have no choice but to go with the 8" leaf..

When I lifted my truck idid'nt like the way It sat, he front was a hare higher. So I had to Get a 1.5" lift block an Cut .5 off to get the right height in the rear. It did requier new U bolts.
