Sway Bar Endlink Problem

Got a problem... Going on a big trip this weekend, and wont have time to get new bushings in and intalled in time. I know for certain one swaybar endlink (driver side, top) is shot. It rattles the floorboard and drives me nuts. I plan on replacing the bushings, but need some fix FAST. It will be all highway driving, no off road.

Could I swap sides so that the bad bushing would be on the passenger side bottom???

Should I run it without a sway bar???

Could I weld the damn thing solid in the area of the bad bushing???

Probably won't work but try greasing the hell out of it if you don't have time for anything else.

Your truck should be fine if you remove the bar. Mine did this and drove me nuts also. I removed it and kind of forgot to put it back on. Drove about 4000 miles without it. NO PROBLEMS!!!! Oh be careful on turns if your lifted. I did notice a little difference without it, but nothing to dangerous. I think these rigs are two heavy to really benifit from the bar. Best of luck and enjoy the trip. Just make sure when you remove the bar you remove EVERTHING!!! you dont want parts hanging down or rattling. The bolts are all metric. 13,16 and 18 ring a bell, but dont hold me to that.

I wrapped it all up last night.. finished the leveling kit (Rough Country), put on all the shocks and steering stabilizer (Rough Country and I couldnt wait to try it out, so I wired the sway bar up to test drive it.. A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE from stock!. Truck sits up nice and looks good too. Only notice a little more body roll without the swaybar. I think I will remove it for the weekend and get to where I got to go.. thanks guys
