lift kit help

I have a 06 ps sd 6.0 4x4 its has a factory tapered block in the rear im about to put a 4inch block in and take out the factory two in block. do I have to get a tapered block or no.my truck is a regular cab long bed 4x4 6.0

Best to get the factory F350 blocks, they are 4" and have the bump stop built in.

Check out Newton's Lifts online. They will know exactly what you need. Blocks and UBolts for our truck at $140, IIRC...

the f350 block does it matter a year? and does it have be a diesel or a 4x4. im sure I can find some are they tapered or flat. and can I just swap them in

Yeah, you can swap the f350 block in an f250... I would probably stay within your year range to be safe. For 4wd, they are 3.5" compared to our 2". Might still need new Ubolts.

I have this kit -

No taper though. You can always add a steel shim to the leaf pack if you need some angle. Some folks shim the carrier bearing if you have one.

mine a 06 are these f350 blocks tapered because mine are for sure

Maybe try and track down an F350 RCLB part number from the dealer and ask them if it's tapered.
