The shop that installed the lift should have probably suggested an alignment, which would straighten your steering wheel...on a straight axle vehicle not much changes with a lift but is still probably a good idea since I'm sure you have some new tires on there as well that you don't want wearing funny.

Wouldn't getting an ailinment fix this without doing that kind of adjusting? Doing it the way that was decribe, would it change something on the suspension other then the steering wheel?

My steering wheel is between the 10 and 11 o'clock postion to drive straight. How much do you think that it would take? I am new to this diesel thing. I have only owned the truck about a week and a half, so there is alot to learn about this truck.

When you get up under there you'll see that all you're
doing is lengthening or shortening the drag link when you
are making the adjustment. In your case, it sounds like it
will take maybe a 1/4 turn to change the drag link length
to what will position your steering wheel correctly. But,
you won't really know until you just start turning to make
the adjustment.
