remove rear block.....

Is it okay to remove the factory 2inch blocks i have total 5inchs of lift in the rear slock 2inch block with a 3inch block ontop..thing is i want to go down 1inch in the rear so could i just pull out the factory and the 3inch and put one solid 4inch block in?

Yes. Putting one solid 4" block will work just fine.

so I went to a local 4x4 shop today to pick up set of 4inch tapered blocks. my blocks that are on the truck now are tapered and they wanted to sell me a non tapered...I don't see why id switch them to a non tapered so I went head an got the tapered ones.. how much are they suppost to be off the 4inch blocks I just got read 4inch and 3 1/2

So the tapered 4" block actual height is 3.5?? I am not sure if actual block measurements = true raise height but I know the front coil spacers can measure shorter than they raise. Maybe someone can be more informative.

Oem Rear f350 block IIRC is 3 5/8"
Of course you can buy whatever an aftermarket sells.

When I went from blocks to lift springs, I trimmed the u-bolts down and cut new threads into them. We did the same thing when we lowered a friend's F350 from 8 to 4.

well mine are blocks in the rear total of 5inchs they are tapered messure 5inch on one side and 4 1/2 on the other. I have a set of single 4inch tapered locks I want to swap in so I can lower the rear down 1inch can I just put them in with out knocking any angles off. im drive a 06 sp 6.0 reg cab long bed. the new blocks 4inch blocks rear 4inch and 3 1/2

Measure the blocks where the alignment pin is to get a better idea of how tall each block really is. Front and rear measurements are more for figuring taper.
